As Commonwealth's Attorney, Shannon Taylor was charged with protecting Virginians in Henrico County. Instead, she caved to the radical wing of her party and advocated for pro-crime policies like ending mandatory minimum sentences and implementing cashless bail.
Cashless bail laws are directly responsible for the brutal murder of 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte, North Carolina. Iryna's murderer had 14 prior arrests, yet thanks to laws like the ones Taylor is advocating for, he was released with no bail and a "written promise" to show up for court.
"Shannon Taylor was supposed to protect Virginians; instead, she relentlessly championed policies that endangered them. Voters know Taylor will always cave to her radical base, which is why they'll soundly reject her." - NRCC Spokesman Reilly Richardson
