Shuttle services for the Mountain View Community Shuttle (MVCS) and MVgo remain suspended while the shuttle operator, WeDriveU, is taking steps to restore their state certification.
According to the Mountain View Transportation Management Association (MTMA), the California Highway Patrol is scheduled to inspect the MVCS and MVgo shuttle fleet on Tuesday, June 23, and Wednesday, June 24. MTMA said following the inspections, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) will need to approve the license for WeDriveU's MVCA and MVgo locations. MTMA does not have a firm date for when this will happen.
Shuttle services have been suspended since June 18 due to the expiration of the shuttle operator's CPUC license.
Uber Vouchers
Per MTMA, Uber vouchers remain available to riders due to the service disruption.
The Uber vouchers for shuttle riders are only usable for trips within Mountain View and during the shuttle service operating hours.
MTMA has notices posted at all bus stops and operation staff positioned at high ridership stops to assist riders with accessing the Uber vouchers.
For riders experiencing voucher issues, contact MTMA at [email protected] or call 855-730-7433.
