Thompson Announces City of Jackson Awarded $2.8 Million Through FTA Bus & Bus Facilities Program

BOLTON, MS - Today, Congressman Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced that the City of Jackson has been awarded $2,800,000 through the U. S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration's FY25 Buses & Bus Facilities Program. The grant will fund significant bus stop improvements to enhance safety, accessibility, and service reliability for transit riders across Jackson.
