Agency of Education's Graduation Requirements Recommendations

Audience: Educational Leaders, Curriculum Directors

Earlier this week, the Agency of Education presented findings from an upcoming report on recommendations for statewide graduation requirements to the State Board of Education. We encourage you to watch the meeting recording and review the presentation. We are finalizing the report, which is due by January 1, as required by Act 73. We sincerely thank everyone who participated in stakeholder events, completed the survey, or provided individual feedback.

Read Vermont Literacy Toolkit

Audience: ELA and literacy educators, educational leaders, curriculum directors

The Read Vermont Literacy Toolkit is designed to support Vermont educators and educational leaders in strengthening their understanding and practice of the five essential components of reading instruction: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. The Toolkit provides resources to help educators and leaders integrate the five essential components so that they work together to develop skilled, confident readers who can understand and engage with text across all content areas.
