Illinois Avenue lane closure planned starting Wednesday, October 22
KILLEEN, Texas (Oct. 21, 2025) - The westbound lane of Illinois Avenue between Amber Road and Topaz Road will be closed to through traffic starting Wednesday, Oct. 22 through Friday, Oct. 24, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
The closure is for upgrades to sidewalks in the area.
The contractor will have a traffic control plan to guide traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
