Take BART to the Golden State Valkyries WNBA Championship Parade

The Golden State Valkyries WNBA Championship Parade is Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Noon.

BART will be ready with extra trains, and we will bolster staff and security presence for parade day. We will also run longer trains. Getting to the parade is easy and affordable on BART.

Take BART to Embarcadero or Montgomery stations and walk to the parade. You can also take BART to Powell St Station and transfer to Muni's T Third trains at Union Square Station. Take a Southbound T Line train heading toward Sunnydale to 4th and King and walk to 2nd and King.

Plan your door-to-door trip using BART's Trip Planner. Itineraries will include key transfer information. You can also check Real Time Departures for the stations you use.

Parking

BART parking prices vary based on station. Pay for parking with the official BART app or with cash, debit, or credit cards at the payment machines inside the station (remember your stall number). Parking is very limited at West Oakland BART Station and is not recommended as the spots fill up very quickly on a normal day.

Paying for your ride

All Bay Area transit accepts contactless debit or credit cards and mobile payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay for adult fare payment. No setup is required. Just Tap and Ride.

Each person needs their own card or device.

If family members have the same credit card number but they are on different cards and devices, they will be able to use it.

Riders must use the same card or device to tap in and tap out.

Clipper cards are also accepted.

Riders who use more than one transit agency in a single trip (e.g., AC Transit to BART) will only be charged full fare on the first operator. A transfer discount of up to $2.85 will apply on any additional transit agency the rider uses within a two-hour window. Transfer discounts are calculated automatically using Tap and Ride or Clipper for accounts that have been upgraded to the next generation system (click here to upgrade your card).

Youth and senior discounts are only available through Clipper in advance with proof of eligibility. If you don't have a discounted card already, you will need to pay the regular fare.
