City of Glendale Opens Applications for Organizations to Host Events During 10th Annual Glendale Tech Week
Glendale, CA - The City of Glendale is now accepting applications from organizations interested in hosting events during the 10th Annual Glendale Tech Week, scheduled for September 23-26, 2026.
Glendale Tech Week is a community-driven series of events that brings together entrepreneurs, startups, investors, business leaders, educators, and technology professionals from across Southern California. Programming includes workshops, panel discussions, networking events, demonstrations, and career-focused opportunities that support innovation and business growth.
Applications are open to businesses, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, startups, coworking spaces, and community partners interested in hosting an official Glendale Tech Week event. Proposed events should align with themes of technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration.
"What has made Glendale Tech Week successful over the past decade is the participation of organizations and individuals who contribute their time, expertise, and ideas each year," said Mayor Ardy Kassakhian. "Glendale means business. As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we're not simply recognizing ten years of success-we're investing in the next ten. California remains at the forefront of technological innovation, and artificial intelligence is ushering in a new era of discovery, entrepreneurship, and economic growth. Glendale is working to expand that ecosystem by fostering collaboration between innovators, educational institutions, investors, and businesses of every size. Together, we're creating a place where new ideas become new companies, new jobs, and new opportunities for our community and our region."
Applications will be accepted through September 9, 2026.
Approved events will be featured on the official Glendale Tech Week calendar and receive access to GTW26 marketing assets and branding resources. Event hosts will be responsible for organizing and managing their events, securing venues, and promoting their programming through their own channels.
Last year, Glendale Tech Week welcomed more than 3,000 attendees across multiple events throughout the city. Over the past decade, the event has featured startup showcases, industry discussions, networking opportunities, investor programming, and career development events.
The City of Glendale supports entrepreneurs and technology companies year-round through business resources, strategic partnerships, networking opportunities, and initiatives that foster business growth and success.
