Montana State announces 14th annual Provost’s Distinguished Lecturer Series
BOZEMAN - Montana State University has announced the lineup of celebrated faculty members who will present lectures during the 2026-27 academic year for the university's 14th annual Provost's Distinguished Lecturer Series.
The series, which is free and open to the public, recognizes outstanding MSU faculty for their creative scholarship and leadership. Presenters will speak on inspirations for their work in talks suitable for professionals and the public.
The lectures will begin at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a reception. All lectures except the first lecture will be held in Hager Auditorium at the Museum of the Rockies. The Nov. 3 lecture will be held at Reynolds Recital Hall in Howard Hall.
This year's lecturers are:
- Nov. 3: Jason Bolte, School of Music
- Jan. 26, 2027: Andrea Litt, Department of Ecology
- Feb. 16, 2027: Mary Miles, Department of Food Systems, Nutrition and Kinesiology
- March 9, 2027: Jennifer Brown, Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering
- April 20, 2027: Bridget Kevane, Department of Modern Languages and Literatures
