JACKSON COUNTY - Permit work by Evergy for urgent utility repairs will require the closure of the ramp from SB MO 9 to WB I-70 (on the northside of the downtown loop, just south of the Heart of America Bridge). This ramp closure will be in place evening/overnight, from 8 p.m., TONIGHT, Tuesday, Oct. 14 until 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 (approximately). Motorists are encouraged to find an alternative route.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
