(Washington, DC) - On Wednesday, September 10 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser, the DC Office of Planning, and the Golden Triangle BID will unveil Art Ave, a free outdoor art exhibit along Connecticut Avenue NW. The exhibit will feature 13 large-scale sculptures, many of which are interactive, and four window art installations.
The open-air gallery is designed to activate public space and strengthen the connection between Lafayette Park, Farragut Square, and the Dupont Circle neighborhood. Art Ave will remain on display through January 2026, along Connecticut Avenue NW and adjacent streets. The project was made possible by a grant issued from the DC Office of Planning Streets for People program.
