City Council Considering Zoning Ordinance Updates Incorporating Roosevelt Road Plan

During the Jan. 21, 2025 City Council meeting, the Council will be considering ordinances to implement the Roosevelt Road Corridor Plan into the City's Zoning Ordinance. This multi-year City project represents an extensive process that included the input of the community, City Council and City staff to create a guide for future development along Roosevelt Road in a way that is responsive to existing conditions and emerging trends and best suited for the different segments of Roosevelt Road, while respecting adjacent neighborhoods.

The ordinance that will be presented for a first reading to the City Council on Tuesday, Jan. 21, represents revisions incorporating the feedback and recommendations from public hearings, the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Council's initial review at its Sept. 16, 2024 meeting.

You can view the meeting agenda, accompanying memo summarizing the proposed revisions and the ordinances on the City's website.
