Portland, OR -
As Oregonians celebrate Labor Day, here is a reminder of Christine Drazan's long and consistent record of opposing pro-worker legislation. As a legislator, Drazan has defined her career by trying to keep Oregon workers unsafe and underpaid. Some of her most notable anti-worker positions have included:
Her campaign is also being bankrolled by anti-labor interests. Last week, Drazan's PAC received $700,000 from the Associated General Contractors, a major construction industry group that sued the state last year to challenge a requirement that union labor be used on state-funded infrastructure projects.
At every opportunity, Christine Drazan has shown Oregon workers that she will not stand up for their rights, wages, or safety.
"Christine Drazan has made it abundantly clear that she will always choose protecting big corporations over working families," said Democratic Party of Oregon Chair Nathan Soltz. "She has opposed every piece of pro-worker legislation that has come before her. At a time when workers' rights are under attack nationally, Oregon needs a leader that will stand up for workers, not another pro-billionaire politician like Drazan who will do everything she can to hold them back."
