ERO Philadelphia removes Spanish citizen wanted for sexual abuse of a minor

PHILADELPHIA - U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Enforcement and Removal Operations Philadelphia removed Malky Antonio Cabrera Vasquez, 29, a citizen of Spain with a final order of removal, to his home country Jan. 15. Cabrera is a foreign fugitive wanted by law enforcement authorities abroad for sexual abuse of a minor.

"Removing Malky Antonio Cabrera Vasquez is a critical action in our mission to protect the American public, said ERO Philadelphia acting Field Office Director Brian McShane. "The safety of our communities is paramount, and we will continue to prioritize the removal of individuals who pose a threat to public safety."

U.S. Customs and Border Protection admitted Cabrera into the United States at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport Feb. 19, 2021, for a temporary period not to exceed May 19, 2021.

ERO Philadelphia arrested Cabrera during an enforcement operation on July 24, 2024, and issued him a final administrative removal order. He was detained at the Moshannon Valley Processing Center in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, while awaiting removal from the U.S.
