Appeal to locate teenager missing from Pyrmont

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's inner city.

Amiera Sykes, aged 14, was last seen on Wattle Crescent, Pyrmont, about 3am today (Tuesday 21 January 2025).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Amiera's welfare due to her young age.

Amiera is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm - 160cm tall, of thin build with long brown hair and black eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black shirt and dark pants.

Amiera is known to frequent the suburbs of Inner West area.
