Lowering of the County Flag: Former Mayor William F. Eckman

This is to advise that Commissioner President Reuben B. Collins, II, Esq., has ordered the Charles County flag to be lowered to half-staff, effective immediately, and returned to full-staff at sunset on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in honor of the late former La Plata Mayor William F. Eckman and to commemorate his decades of dedicated service to the La Plata community and Charles County.
