An official welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, was held at the Presidential Palace of Georgia.
President Ilham Aliyev was received by the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili. During the ceremony, the national anthems of both countries were performed.
As part of the state visit, a bilateral meeting between President Kavelashvili and President Aliyev is scheduled to take place at the Presidential Palace.
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan arrived together with his spouse and the accompanying delegation.
