Are you interested in assisting in matters related to bicycle pedestrian issues in the Stanislaus region?
Do you currently live in Ceres, Hughson, Newman, Modesto, Riverbank, Patterson or Waterford?
If yes, then YOU are a perfect fit!
The Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) is one of the StanCOG Standing Committees. This committee provides recommendations to the Policy Board on matters related to bicycle and pedestrian issues in the Stanislaus region. It reviews transportation projects and recommends planning efforts that enhance non-motorized transportation opportunities in the Stanislaus region. Its membership is comprised of a resident from each member jurisdiction who are bicycle/pedestrian enthusiasts.
There are currently vacancies on the committee for member representatives from Ceres, Newman, Patterson, Riverbank, and Waterford. The positions are open until filled.
