Greenberg Traurig Advises Corning on Partnership with NVIDIA to Expand U.S. Fiber Production Capacity for AI Infrastructure

NEW YORK - May 15, 2026 - Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP represented Corning Incorporated (NYSE: GLW) in negotiating a multiyear commercial and technology partnership agreement with NVIDIA (Nasdaq: NVDA) to expand U.S.-based manufacturing of advanced optical connectivity solutions supporting next-generation artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Corning will significantly increase its U.S. optical connectivity manufacturing capacity and expand domestic fiber production to help meet rapidly growing demand driven by large-scale AI infrastructure deployments, the companies said in a statement. The initiative includes the construction of three new advanced manufacturing facilities in North Carolina and Texas and is expected to create more than 3,000 new manufacturing jobs in the United States.

Corning's expanded production capabilities will support the optical connectivity required by hyperscale data centers deploying NVIDIA-accelerated computing platforms, according to the companies.

"This agreement reflects the continued convergence of advanced manufacturing, digital infrastructure, and long-term supply chain investment in the United States," Greenberg Traurig Corporate Shareholders Joshua B. Forman and Charles C. Calloway, Jr. said in a joint statement. "Corning's planned expansion demonstrates how strategic partnerships can help scale critical infrastructure while strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities."

Based in Miami, Forman serves as co-chair of Greenberg Traurig's Digital Infrastructure Industry Group, a multidisciplinary team that advises clients on the development, financing, construction, operation, and regulation of digital infrastructure assets, including data centers, fiber networks, and related technologies, across domestic and international markets.

Based in Chicago, Calloway focuses his practice on representing financial institutions and strategic investors in domestic and cross-border corporate, project, ESG, and structured finance transactions.

They were assisted by Law Clerk/J.D. Mohamed Elfarra.
