Senior Partner Debby Lim named Woman of the Year in Restructuring by International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation

We are delighted to share that Debby Lim, Senior Partner and Co-Head of our Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice, has been awarded the Woman of the Year in Restructuring (Asia) by the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).

This prestigious award recognises outstanding female professionals in Asia's restructuring and insolvency industry who demonstrate exceptional leadership, inspire and lead teams, drive industry growth, and make a lasting impact through mentoring, training, or publications.

Debby's expertise in high-profile, complex cross-border insolvency matters and her exceptional appellate advocacy have garnered her widespread recognition. Beyond her legal practice, she actively contributes to the firm's women's committee, empowering and supporting female talent across the firm.

As part of the award, Debby received a US$1,000 cash prize to donate to a charity of her choice. In celebration of AWARE's 40th anniversary, she has chosen to support the Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE), a Singapore-based NGO focused on women's rights and gender equality, where she previously volunteered as a law undergraduate.
