Pirates Bay Prepares for Taylor-Made Splash

The hits of Taylor Swift are coming to Baytown, but probably not in the way you would expect.

On Friday, July 25, LOVER: The Unofficial Eras Tour (Baytown Version) will take center stage at Pirates Bay Waterpark from 5-9 p.m. The high-energy tribute show band promises music, memories, and maybe even a little magic, all poolside.

"Imagine the fun of a water park and the excitement of the Eras Tour," said Charity Eden, the Dallas-based performer who leads the band as Taylor Swift. "That's what we're bringing to Baytown."

For Charity, the idea came from a place of admiration and joy. A lifelong musician, she was working as an accountant by day when she attended Swift's Eras Tour in 2023. That single concert changed everything.

"It completely moved me," she said. "I left that show thinking, 'I want to recreate this magic for people who couldn't go.'"

The idea started as a casual conversation with her bandmates, but quickly took off.

"Before we even played a single show, we were getting booking requests," she said.

Now performing full-time, Charity has made it a mission to deliver a show that mirrors Swift's iconic experience, from detailed costumes and choreography to emotional storytelling and big singalong moments.

"Fans come up to me after shows and say, 'That was just like the real thing,'" she said. "That means everything to me."

Charity's team has also reached out to Swift's management team to ensure they are aware of the passion and effort behind the tribute. "I want her to know this is done with total respect and love."

The show features music from every Swift era including Fearless, Lover, 1989, Red, and more. It also includes one original song Charity shares to connect on a personal level.

"People know I'm not Taylor," she said. "But they also get to know me and that's powerful too."

Whether you're a die-hard Swiftie or simply looking for a fun night out, this is one event that you won't want to miss.

"This show is for the fans who may never get to go to the Eras Tour or for those who just want to experience it again," said Charity. "It's about the joy, connection, and the magic of the music."

As Taylor and Charity both sing, "Something happens when everybody finds out."

And the only way you'll find out is by being at Pirates Bay. Learn more, including how to get exclusive show perks, at baytownpiratesbay.com.
