NB U.S. Route 61 in Cape Girardeau County Reduced for Pavement Repairs

Overnight Work

SIKESTON-Northbound U.S. Route 61 (S. Kingshighway) in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as construction crews perform overnight pavement repairs.

This section of roadway is located from Cape Rock Drive to Good Hope Street in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place overnight Monday, Oct. 21 through Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near these areas.
