Marquette University is proud to recognize faculty and staff who demonstrate exceptional dedication to advancing the Jesuit tradition of academic excellence.

Marquette Ignatian Educators of Distinction will be publicly acknowledged for their ongoing commitment and competence in fostering Jesuit pedagogy, spirituality and heritage during Mission Week on Thursday, Feb. 6, at noon in the AMU Monaghan Ballrooms.

This distinction honors individuals who have dedicated themselves to the Jesuit mission, engaging in significant education, scholarship, and leadership related to Jesuit identity.

To become a Marquette Ignatian Educator of Distinction, participants are asked to have completed approximately 20 hours of comprehensive education and/or scholarship
on Jesuit identity since Jan. 1, 2024. This may include engaging in activities that deepen your understanding of Ignatian pedagogy, spirituality and heritage.
