SME Recyclage: At the heart of deconstruction

Integrated into the Paprec Group in December 2023, SME Recyclage is a family-owned business that has successfully combined tradition and innovation since its creation in 1969. Specializing in railway deconstruction, asbestos removal, and the recycling of scrap metal and metals, SME Recyclage plays a key role in waste management and environmental preservation.

With a team of 77 employees across three sites in the Rhône-Alpes region (Culoz, Ambronay, and Eperney), SME Recyclage manages an impressive volume of 45,000 tons of waste annually. Thanks to its expertise, the company not only contributes to the deconstruction of old structures but also to the valorization of recovered materials, thus promoting a circular economy.
