Company of Good recognition reflects Dentons Rodyk's commitment to purpose and community

For more than 165 years, Dentons Rodyk has believed that the practice of law extends beyond advising clients. It also carries a responsibility to strengthen communities, widen access to justice and help shape a more inclusive society.

That commitment has been recognised with the Company of Good - 3 Hearts award by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), one of Singapore's highest recognitions for organisations that embed purpose and positive social impact into the way they operate.

Conferred on 20 July 2026, the 3 Hearts tier recognises organisations that have clearly articulated their corporate purpose and demonstrated a credible strategy to deepen and scale their impact.

The Company of Good framework assesses organisations across five pillars-people, society, governance, environment and economic impact, recognising businesses that integrate responsible practices into their long-term strategy.

As Dentons Rodyk celebrates its incredible 165th anniversary this year, it is guided by its purpose to not only deliver excellence through legal work, but also investing in people, supporting communities and contributing to society.

Over the past year, the firm's efforts have included:

• Championing diversity and inclusion through Dentons Women, which supports the advancement of female lawyers through mentorship, networking and professional development.
• Giving back to the community through volunteering initiatives, including legal awareness sessions for Singapore Red Cross volunteers and partnerships with The Bone Marrow Donor Programme and Dementia Singapore.
• Expanding access to justice through pro bono work and participation in initiatives such as the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme in partnership with Pro Bono SG.
• Supporting education and future talent through mentorship programmes with the Singapore University of Social Sciences and the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law, alongside advocacy initiatives.
• Convening conversations that matter through the annual Dentons Rodyk Dialogue, held in collaboration with Singapore Management University since 2017, bringing together leaders from government, business and academia to discuss issues shaping Singapore and the region.

Partner and Chair of Dentons Rodyk's CSR committee, Terence Wah, accepted the award on the firm's behalf at the ceremony, which was attended by Guests of Honour Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong, and Senior Minister of State Low Yen Ling.

For Dentons Rodyk, this recognition is an affirmation of a belief the firm has upheld for generations: that lasting success is measured not only by the legal matters it handles, but by the positive difference it makes beyond them.
