Cobb County Invites Residents to Public Meetings on Proposed Unified Development Code
Cobb County is inviting residents, business owners, and community partners to attend a series of public meetings to learn more about the County's proposed Unified Development Code (UDC) - a significant effort to modernize and simplify Cobb's zoning and development regulations.
The UDC will consolidate and update existing zoning and development codes into one user-friendly document. This modernization aims to make the rules easier to understand and apply, while ensuring they reflect current development trends, best practices, and the community's long-term vision.
The meetings will provide an opportunity for residents to:
• Learn about the proposed updates and how they may affect future development in Cobb
• Speak directly with project staff and planning representatives
• Share feedback to help shape the final draft of the UDC
