Secretary-General of ASEAN receives farewell courtesy call from AIPA Secretary General

Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today received a farewell courtesy call from H.E. Ar. Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman, outgoing Secretary General of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. During the meeting, the two sides underscored the ongoing collaboration between ASEAN and AIPA over the past three years under H.E. Ar. Siti Rozaimeriyanty's leadership. Initiatives such as the AIPA Strategic Plan 2023-2030, the Women's Political Participation and Leadership (WPPL) Framework, AIPALync, and the ASEAN-RAI Parliamentary Framework were highlighted as milestones in strengthening parliamentary diplomacy and promoting ASEAN priorities. SG Dr. Kao reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the incoming Secretary General of AIPA to take cooperation between ASEAN and AIPA to a greater height.
