Winning Designs from Youth Ages 5 to 17 to Appear on Specially Wrapped Bus
"Engaging the next generation in public transit and sustainability is crucial to building a more sustainable future," said Maryland Transit Administrator Holly Arnold. "We are thrilled to provide a platform for these talented young people to showcase the positive impact of transit on our environment."
In addition to the wrapped bus, the selected finalists' pieces will be displayed in the Maryland State Department of Education Superintendent's Student Gallery on Baltimore Street.
Key Contest Details:
· Eligibility: Open to all youth ages five (5) through seventeen (17)
· Theme: Public Transportation is a Climate Solution

Last year, the Maryland Transit Administration received nearly 50 submissions from across the state and the six finalists represented Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Montgomery County and Prince George's County.
