Anaheim launches new look and format for community meetings

ANAHEIM, Calif.(Oct. 14, 2025) - Anaheim has launched a new drop-in, open house format for district community meetings, designed to be more convenient for residents.

The open house meetings are a chance for residents to learn more about what matters most to them and their neighborhoods.

At all open houses, you can connect with city leaders and staff, ask questions and share what's most important to you.

The new format builds on the previous district community meetings, offering a more open, casual and welcoming way to have real conversations.

Residents can arrive when it works for them during the two-hour timeframe, with no rush to get there at the start of the meeting. Anyone can stop by anytime and visit city tables they are interested in.

We are halfway through this round of meetings, with substantial turnouts for districts 1, 3 and 4 last week.

You are welcome to stop by for this week's meetings for districts 5 and 6, with District 2 closing out this series of community meetings next week.

People can drop in anytime from 5 to 7 p.m. at the remaining open houses:

  • District 5:Wednesday, Oct. 15 at Katella High School (2200 E. Wagner Ave.)
  • District 6:Thursday, Oct. 16 at East Anaheim Community Center (8201 E. Santa Ana Canyon Road)
  • District 2:Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Magnolia High School (2450 W. Ball Road)

You can find more information and meeting details on Facebook and Instagram at City of Anaheim.
