gener8tor and U.S. Venture Announce 2026 Cohort of U.S. Venture Sustainability Accelerator

Partners invest $100,000 in each of five select startups

APPLETON, Wis. - Global venture capital firm gener8tor, in partnership with energy, transportation, and sustainability solutions company U.S. Venture, today announced the five startups selected for the 2026 U.S. Venture Sustainability Accelerator cohort.

Now in its fourth year, the accelerator invests $100,000 into five high-growth startups focused on sustainability, energy, mobility, logistics, and industrial innovation. Participating companies work closely with gener8tor in Appleton, Wisconsin, gaining access to mentorship, strategic introductions, and collaboration opportunities with investors, corporate partners, and leaders across U.S. Venture's family of businesses.

The 2026 cohort includes:

  • Integrated Dynamics (Chicago, IL): High-temperature biomanufacturing platform enabling domestic production of critical chemical intermediates from agricultural feedstocks.

  • Magnefy (San Mateo, CA): Non-invasive electromagnetic sensing and edge AI platform for predictive monitoring of critical electrical infrastructure.

  • Optimus Technologies (Pittsburgh, PA): Advanced fuel system technology enabling heavy-duty trucking fleets to operate on 100% biodiesel (B100).

  • Private Fleet Net Zero (San Francisco, CA): Freight matching platform helping private trucking fleets monetize unused backhaul capacity and reduce emissions.

  • Self Inspection (San Diego, CA): AI-powered vehicle inspection platform automating damage detection and inspection workflows for automotive businesses.

"This year's cohort reflects several areas that are highly relevant to both industry and the broader economy - including industrial decarbonization, infrastructure reliability, fleet efficiency, and supply chain resilience," said Chuck Dauk, Chief Innovation and Transformation Officer at U.S. Venture. "We're looking forward to working alongside these founders and continuing to build meaningful connections between emerging technologies and established industry operators."

"The companies joining this year's program are tackling practical, large-scale challenges across transportation, energy, manufacturing, and logistics," said Andrew Schmitz, Managing Director of the U.S. Venture Sustainability Accelerator at gener8tor. "One of the most exciting aspects of this program is bringing founders from across the country into direct conversations with corporate leaders, and mentors here in Northeastern Wisconsin. We're excited to support these teams as they continue to scale."

That emphasis on industry connection, embedding the startups within the region's industrial hub, is what drew companies like Pittsburgh-based Optimus Technologies to the program.

"As fleets look for practical solutions to reduce emissions today, programs like this provide valuable opportunities to engage directly with strategic partners and industry experts," said Colin Huwyler, CEO of Optimus Technologies. "We're excited to be part of this year's cohort and to spend time in Appleton working alongside the U.S. Venture and gener8tor teams."
