Tom Blomqvist secures front-row start for Acura ARX-06 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Tom Blomqvist secured a front row start for the #60 Acura ARX-06 ahead of tomorrow's TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, qualifying the Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian machine first for the penultimate race of the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

Blomqvist and Colin Braun are looking for their first win of the year and first victory for the electrified Acura ARX-06 at the Brickyard. Last year, in the previous six-hour format of the event, the pair brought home a solid third place finish.

The sister #93 Acura ARX-06 of Nick Yelloly and Renger van der Zande will take the green flag from fifth as they set off in search of their second race win of the season, having previously triumphed at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.

While Yelloly has stood on the podium on two previous occasions, he and co-driver van der Zande will be seeking to bolster the team's championship title fight with a win.

The #93 ARX-06 is running a special 'Thank You' livery for the final two races of the year to commemorate the end of Acura's stint in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship which has included 14 team, driver and manufacturer championships, 33 victories, 44 pole positions and three wins in the series' biggest test, the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
