Tarleton State adds 2nd junior college national champion, Isabel Schattauer, for 2025-26

STEPHENVILLE, Texas - Tarleton State Beach Volleyball has announced its fourth signing for 2025-26 and their second transfer acquisition from Palm Beach State, as the Texans have added Isabel Schattauer.

Schattauer (5-9) has played the last two years for the Lady Panthers, winning the 2024 NJCAA Beach Volleyball National Championship. Palm Beach State just won their third straight FCSAA Beach Volleyball Championship and await the NJCAA Selection Show on Wednesday to determine their quest for a third straight NJCAA National Championship.

Schattauer is from Germany and moved to the United State in 2023 to play beach volleyball and explore the world. Her hometown is Brandenburg an der Havel and she attended Von Saldern- Gymnasium before joining Palm Beach State.

This past year, she started competing for Germany at the international level.

Schattauer will study marketing at Tarleton State University.
