CEPH Invites Comments on Proposed Criteria Revisions for DrPH and Joint Degrees

February 11, 2026

The Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) is currently accepting public comments on proposed revisions to the accreditation criteria for DrPH foundational competencies and joint degrees through Monday, March 23, 2026, as part of its ongoing five-year review of the Accreditation Criteria for Schools and Programs of Public Health. This phased approach allows CEPH to gather focused feedback by topic area before releasing a full draft of the revised criteria.

CEPH welcomes feedback from all perspectives and encourages participation from schools, programs, faculty, administrators, and other stakeholders.

Comments must be submitted through CEPH's official online comment forms (DrPH foundational competencies and joint degrees) by close of business on March 23. Submissions sent via email or other methods will not be accepted. All related resources and guidance for submitting comments are available through CEPH's criteria revision hub.

ASPPH has long partnered with CEPH to uphold high standards in public health education and encourages all member institutions and individuals to provide comments to CEPH. Member perspectives play a vital role in shaping accreditation criteria that reflect the needs of both academia and the broader public health community.
