Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright represented Zupt LLC, a provider of offshore surveying, positioning and inspection solutions, on its sale to Rosenxt, a technology and engineering company focused on critical offshore and industrial infrastructure. The transaction closed on July 21, 2026.
The acquisition brings together complementary capabilities in subsea positioning, survey, monitoring and integrity management technologies, expanding Rosenxt's portfolio of solutions for critical offshore infrastructure and operations. Based in Houston, Zupt supports offshore projects in more than 20 countries through advanced positioning, metrology, survey and monitoring services.
"The offshore sector continues to embrace technologies that enhance data quality, reduce operational risk and improve decision-making across the asset lifecycle," said Amelia Zhang, who led Norton Rose Fulbright's representation. "This transaction highlights the strategic importance of those capabilities and the growing demand for innovative offshore solutions."
The deal adds to the firm's experience advising clients at the intersection of offshore operations, advanced AI-driven technology, transportation and logistics and energy infrastructure. The firm has recently represented companies involved in subsea robotics, offshore services and technologies that support the maintenance and operation of critical subsea infrastructure.
Norton Rose Fulbright's team was led by Amelia Zhang (Houston) and included Jennifer Xiaodan Zhang, Kendall Killian (Dallas) and Charles Powell (Houston).
