Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK and the team Provide Assistance to Thai nationals Injured as a Result of An Accidental Bomb Drop by the ROK Air Force fighter aircraft during a military exercise.

On 15 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, held a meeting with Mr. Young Lee, President of the Namyangju City Migrant Welfare Center, to follow up on progress regarding compensation, visa matters, and assistance measures for Thai nationals who were injured as a result of the accidental release of munitions by a South Korean fighter aircraft during a military training exercise on 6 March 2025.

On this occasion, the Ambassador and officials from the Consular Section visited and offered words of encouragement to a Thai female national who was injured in the incident, expressing his concern and extending best wishes for her full and speedy recovery.

The Ambassador reaffirmed the readiness of the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul to provide full care, protection, and assistance to Thai nationals in the ROK. The Embassy is currently coordinating arrangements to request a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the ROK Air Force to discuss further courses of action.
