Detroit man bound over on alleged theft of Dodge Ram infotainment systems, faces additional charges in other jurisdictions

Mount Clemens, Mich. - Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that 18-year-old Rajah Jamir Rayshaun Pritchard-Dixon, of Detroit, has been bound over to Macomb County Circuit Court in two separate cases out of Warren, Michigan. It is alleged that during the overnight hours of May 22, 2026, Pritchard-Dixon broke into five Dodge Ram pickup trucks and stole or attempted to steal the vehicles' infotainment systems.

On Thursday, August 20, 2026, Pritchard-Dixon appeared before Judge Steven Bieda in the 37th District Court in Warren for preliminary examination hearings in the two cases. Pritchard-Dixon waived his right to the preliminary examinations and was bound over to Circuit Court.

In one case, Pritchard-Dixon is charged with Larceny - $20,000 or More, a 10-year felony.

In the second case, he is charged with Attempted Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, a five-year felony, and Breaking and Entering - A Vehicle with Damage to Vehicle, a five-year felony.

Pritchard-Dixon's bond is $25,000 cash/surety with a 10% option in each case. If Pritchard-Dixon posts bond and is released, he will be required to wear a steel cuff tether.

"Those who break into vehicles and steal valuable property will be held accountable," Prosecutor Lucido said. "We will continue to work with law enforcement to protect our communities and ensure those accused of committing these crimes are prosecuted."

Pritchard-Dixon will be arraigned before Judge Anthony R. Servitto of the Macomb County Circuit Court on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 1:30.

Pritchard-Dixon is also charged with Larceny - $20,000 or More, in three additional jurisdictions. He was arraigned in Roseville's 39^th District Court and has a Probable Cause Conference scheduled before Judge Joseph F. Boedeker on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. His bond is $10,000 cash/surety with a ten percent option.

He has two cases scheduled for Preliminary Exams before Judge Mark A. Fratarcangeli of the 40^th District Court in St. Clair Shores on September 4, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. His bond amount is $10,000 cash/surety on each case.

Pritchard-Dixon is scheduled for Preliminary Exam before Judge Kathleen G. Galen of the 38^th District Court in Eastpointe on September 8, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. His bond is $30,000 cash/surety.
