I am pleased to reintroduce this commonsense legislation with Rep. McGarvey to give our veterans the support they have earned and help them launch successful aviation careers after serving in our nation's military."
Congressman McGarvey said, "The cost of educational training should never be a barrier for anyone ready to take the next step in their career - especially our nation's veterans, who have already sacrificed so much. This bill honors their service by giving veterans the flexibility to use their hard-earned benefits in ways that support their career goals, without being unfairly priced out or timed out in the process."
