Driver Charged With Vehicular Homicide Following January Fatal Crash

The 24-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Impala involved in the January 31st fatal crash on Elm Hill Pike that claimed the life of David Lagrone, 48, is now out on $13,000 bond after he surrendered himself Monday afternoon.
Further investigation into the crash found that Kegjhi Majors was driving the Impala between 71 and 94 mph in a 45 mph zone when he struck Lagrone's Mazda as it was making a left hand turn at the intersection of Ermac Drive.
Majors and his passenger were both transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where they were treated and released. Lagrone died at Vanderbilt days after the crash.
Majors was charged with vehicular homicide by reckless conduct, aggravated assault, driving on a suspended license and failure to provide proof of financial responsibility.
