Collaborating for Community Health: Emory's Farmworker Project Webinar

April 15, 2026

Join an upcoming webinar highlighting innovative approaches to interprofessional education and collaborative practice on April 30, 2026, from 2:00-3:00 PM ET. Hosted by the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) and the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Officers Foundation (COF), the session will feature the 2025 Excellence in Interprofessional Education Collaboration Award-winning team from Emory University, including leaders from the Rollins School of Public Health.

The webinar will showcase Emory's Farmworker Project, which delivers free care to more than 2,000 farmworkers and their families annually through community-based clinics, while training students in real-world, interprofessional practice. The discussion will highlight how cross-sector collaboration can address complex public health challenges while advancing workforce development and community engagement.

Registration is free, and all are encouraged to attend. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from award-winning leaders, reflect on best practices, and consider how similar models may be applied within their own institutions. A recording will also be available, ensuring continued access to these insights beyond the live session.
