Attack on a crowd in New Orleans, United States of America
The Brazilian government has received with sorrow the news of the attack that took place in the early hours of January 1, targeting a crowd celebrating the New Year on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, in the U.S. state of Louisiana. The attack resulted in at least ten fatalities and around 35 injuries.
The Brazilian government reiterates its firm condemnation of any act of violence, perpetrated under any pretext, and expresses its solidarity with the families of the victims, as well as with the people and government of the United States of America.
