Associate Marcus Strong to Receive 2024 Cornerstone Award from Lawyers Alliance for New York
Associate Marcus Strong has been selected as a 2024 Cornerstone Award honoree for his pro bono work with the Lawyers Alliance for New York.
Strong will be honored at the 2024 Cornerstone Award ceremony on Oct. 28. The Cornerstone Awards recognize outstanding pro bono legal services to nonprofits dedicated to improving the lives of New Yorkers in need.
Strong's recent work with Lawyers Alliance includes assisting Weird Enough Productions, a multimedia production company that creates digital media to empower youth, with a wide range of intellectual property issues. Strong has also represented New York City-based community organizations in protecting or leveraging their intellectual property assets.
Lawyers Alliance provides business and transactional legal services for nonprofits and social enterprises that aim to improve the quality of life in New York City neighborhoods. It connects lawyers, nonprofits and communities to provide and advocate for vital programs and services that help low-income New Yorkers.
