Tajani in Modena tomorrow. “The State should reward Signorelli for his heroic deed”

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani will travel to Modena tomorrow to express his solidarity with the local population and those who stopped the man who drove his car into a crowd of pedestrians, causing several severe injuries.

In particular, Minister Tajani suggested to Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi that Mr. Luigi Signorelli be officially rewarded for his courageous deed. He said: "I believe it is important for the State to award honours to citizens who defend the rule of law."

Minister Tajani also thanked the two Egyptian citizens who helped apprehend the perpetrator.
