TAMPA, FL. (January 10, 2025) - - Tampa Police detectives are actively following leads relating to a series of credit card fraud incidents that began in November 2024. The suspect has used stolen credit cards to make unauthorized purchases at various locations throughout the city.
As this investigation continues, detectives have been able to gather video and photo evidence of the suspect. Now, they are asking if anyone in the community can help them identify the suspect.
The black male suspect appears to be in his early 20s, approximately 6 feet tall, 235 pounds, with a stocky build. He has been captured on surveillance footage making fraudulent purchases at International Mall, and from businesses in the Tampa Palms area, including Publix, Walmart, and 7-Eleven, where gift cards were purchased.
Detectives are asking anyone with information that could lead to identifying this suspect to call the Tampa Police Department at 813.231.6130, to submit a tip through the TampaPD app, or to contact Crimestoppers of Tampa Bay at 800.873.TIPS.
