Disability Services (DS) offices across the state continue to offer free virtual training sessions to UA staff and faculty on a range of essential topics. Each 'All Access' session will include ASL interpreters and live transcription services.

Presenters: Disability Support Staff from all three MAUs
Session Summary: Working with students who present challenges can be demanding, but that's often where the most meaningful progress happens. Keep in mind that you're not alone in this journey - there are always resources, colleagues, and strategies to lean on. In this informative and interactive webinar, Disability Services staff from all three MAUs will use real-world scenarios to provide faculty and staff with practical strategies and tools. This session will be 90 minutes, but we will remain online for discussion and to answer questions as long as needed.

Session Summary:Gain valuable information about how you can better include students with intellectual disabilities through your role on campus. Colleges and universities across the county have opened their doors to college students with intellectual disability by developing inclusive postsecondary education (IPSE) programs. These programs are highly valued on their campuses and have positive impacts on administrators and leadership, faculty and staff, and college peers with and without disabilities. Discover the transformative impact of including students with intellectual disabilities on college campuses through this virtual event, which includes time for questions.

Pro Bio L. Danielle "Danie" Roberts-Dahm, PhD:Danie is the project coordinator of the Think College Inclusive Higher Education Network. She leads project implementation, including regional partnership development, training and technical assistance, and dissemination. Prior to Think College, Danie served in leadership roles at an inclusive postsecondary program and a state technical assistance center focused on the transition of students with disabilities in Florida. Danie's work has been focused on the development of inclusive college opportunities for students with disabilities.
