Public Hearing on a Recommendation by the Planning Commission to the City Council for Adoption of a Resolution for an Approved Tree List for new development projects This is a public hearing on a Recommendation by the Planning Commission to the City Council for Adoption of a Resolution of an Approved Tree List for new development projects. Adoption of the Tree List is in alignment with the City's initiative to enhance our urban forest and ensure the long-term health and vitality of our community's green infrastructure. No specific development projects are proposed as part of the adoption of the tree list. The proposed project is exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3). Where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA. The approved tree list is strictly a guidance document to improve the City's resilience for tree species well-suited to our local climate. The approved tree list does not provide entitlements to any specific land use projects, nor does it make any changes to the General Plan land use map or modify land use designations, densities, or land use intensities.
