Allegheny County - September 10, 2025 - Today, Senator Wayne Fontana announced $5,556,390 in funding for agencies and organizations that serve the people of the 42nd District from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD). These grants provide critical funding for victim services programs.
"These organizations perform an invaluable service in our communities and I am proud to support their important work," said Sen. Fontana. "These grants are a great example of all levels of government working with our nonprofit community to improve the lives of our friends and neighbors."

This year Sen. Fontana has secured over $9.1 million in PCCD funding for local governments, schools, and nonprofits that serve the 42nd District.
The PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency awarded $56.6 million this week to improve crime reporting, help law enforcement upgrade equipment, support victims of crime and victim service providers, and support county jail-based medication-assisted treatment for individuals with substance use disorder.
