Quad Cities International Airport Welcomes Sky Dine as New Food and Beverage Concessionaire

February 19, 2026

Quad Cities International Airport's Board of Commissioners unanimously selected Sky Dine of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as the new concessionaire for food and beverage services at the airport. Sky Dine, a family-owned company with decades of hospitality experience, will introduce new concepts and elevated service as part of the airport's ongoing terminal improvements.

Sky Dine was chosen through a competitive process designed to identify a firm capable of strengthening the airport's dining program. Its proposal distinguished itself through an emphasis on quality, variety and meaningful local partnerships, supported by a strong track record in airport operations. The company's vision aligns with the airport's broader modernization efforts and commitment to improving the traveler journey.

"Sky Dine is committed to delivering local flavors, healthy options and convenience to the hundreds of thousands of people who pass through the QC Airport each year," said Benjamin Leischner, A.A.E., executive director, Quad Cities International Airport. "As we advance our terminal modernization plan, their family-owned business model and dedication to quality food and service is a natural fit and we're excited to welcome them to the Quad Cities."

Sky Dine will develop and manage three concession locations, with final names and branding to be announced later:

  • Pre-Security Eatery: Grab n' Go items, Sunny's Coffee, Cinnabon, a full bar, and a quick-serve menu featuring breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.
  • Post-Security Eatery: All pre-security items plus Smash Pizza of Bettendorf, Iowa, Sammie's Sandwich Company, Cinnabon, and a full-service bar and restaurant menu.
  • B Concourse Bar: A bar concept featuring robotic food delivery, Grab n' Go selections, full bar service, and access to the post-security eatery menu, designed for maximum convenience.

Local collaboration is central to Sky Dine's plan. Partnerships with Quad Cities favorites such as Smash Pizza and Sunny's Coffee are already in the works, along with regional beverage providers including Midwest Ale Works, Bent River Brewing, and Wake Brewing. Working with local brands familiar and beloved by Quad Citizens will create a strong sense of place and showcase area flavors.

"We are honored to partner with Quad Cities International Airport to bring this vision to life," said Dustin Sejnoha, Owner and Managing Partner of Sky Dine. "Our goal is to create a vibrant, traveler-focused experience that reflects the character and values of the Quad Cities community. We look forward to working hand-in-hand with airport leadership to deliver exceptional food, service, and hospitality."

Sky Dine plans to invest more than $1 million in build-out and renovations, incorporating modern equipment and technology such as robotic food delivery and mobile ordering. The design and menu strategy emphasize efficiency, sustainability and passenger convenience.

The new concessions are expected to open in Summer 2026, aligning with the airport's terminal modernization project, Project GATEWAY.
