The boards, commissions, and committees of the City of Middleton are mostly comprised of volunteer citizens appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the Common Council. All meetings are open to the public; however, all or part of a meeting may be held in closed session (no public allowed) if the item being discussed is within the guidelines of state statutes.
Without the dedication of the many volunteers who serve and contribute countless hours, the city would be unable to function. These volunteers help to make the City of Middleton a great place to live, work, and play.
The City of Middleton provides equal opportunities to all applicants. It prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
