The 32nd Annual Canton Liberty Fest will take over Heritage Park from June 12-14, offering plenty of family fun, live entertainment, festival food, and more! This year's event will once again feature three fun-filled days of exciting rides, a thrilling midway area, two stages jam-packed with live entertainment, a marketplace, and much more! This year's festival sponsors include: Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, Michigan Army National Guard, Schoolcraft College, Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, and WeatherGard.The Liberty Fest fireworks, sponsored by Michigan Army National Guard, will be held on Friday, June 13, just after dark, allowing for a Saturday night rain date if necessary.
Special wristband discounts for all the carnival rides are now available online only until Thursday, June 12, at 9 a.m. To enhance safety and crowd management, the Thrill Ride Carnival Zone area will be fully fenced, with one entrance and exit. To access this area, guests must present a valid wristband, mega band, or ride tickets. Parents or responsible adults attending with their minor child are not required to have a wristband, mega band, or ride tickets (unless they are going on the rides as well).
Saturday fun includes: the Liberty Run, Canton Lions Pancake Breakfast, and special performances for the little ones. Special Jurassic Kingdom performances will also be held on Saturday at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. or 9 p.m., where festivalgoers can experience one of these free, must-see live action shows featuring life-like animatronic dinosaurs near the Schoolcraft Live Stage. Everyone is invited to celebrate Juneteenth with Canton Township from 5-10 p.m. Enjoy a variety of guest speakers, featured black-owned businesses, entertainment and more!
