Renegade Game Studios Releases G.I. JOE Heroscape Into Retail

San Diego, CA - March 16, 2026 - Renegade Game Studios, in collaboration with Hasbro, a leading games, IP and toy company, has launched the YO JOE G.I. JOE Heroscape line into retail channels, which includes a new Battle Box and three Army Expansions.

Heroscape, a fast-paced miniatures game with iconic stackable terrain tiles, has been the star of game stores and dining room tables since 2004. Warriors from across time and space, from human soldiers to alien robots, roll the dice to wage explosive battles. There's something for every gamer in Heroscape, and its world is about to get even bigger.

This wave of titles transports familiar G.I. JOE heroes and villains into the realm of strategy and endless battle that is Heroscape. This blend of G.I. JOE theming and the Heroscape game system attracts not only Heroscape fans, but fans of the world of G.I. JOE, to the renowned miniatures game. The YO JOE G.I. JOE Heroscape line is the perfect jumping on point for fans of G.I. JOE who long for more ways to play and engage with the brand!

The Four Titles In This Release:

1. Rumble at the Rift Battle Box: This set is the perfect jumping-in point for new Heroscape players and existing players alike. Fans of G.I. JOE will recognize the characters in this set's start-studded lineup: Duke, Scarlett, Roadblock, Snake Eyes, COBRA Commander, Destro, Storm Shadow, and Doctor Mindbender For new Heroscape players, this set offers everything you need to play: 8 iconic G.I. JOE figures, all highly detailed and fully assembled, modular hex terrain, COBRA fortifications, dice, markers, and all cards, rules, and a variety of scenarios for continued replayability. These figures are unique to this set, making this a must have for existing Heroscape players looking to complete their collection and expand their armies. All contents in this set are fully compatible with Renegade's previous Heroscape releases.
   
2. Strike Forces Army Expansion: This expansion includes six highly-detailed miniatures of iconic JOE and COBRA characters to add to armies, along with three Glyphs that shake up the battlefield. Baroness, Lady Jaye, Crimson Twins, and Jinx & Kamakura can be added to existing armies to add new abilities and strategies to games of Heroscape. Any Heroscape Battle Box or Master Set can be used in combination with this expansion.
   
3. COBRA Troopers and COBRA Flight Pod Common Army Expansion: This expansion introduces a new Common Hero figure and a 4-figure Common Squad for players to incorporate into their collection. The Common COBRA Troops and the COBRA Flight Pod allow players to use as many of each figure or squad in their army as point values allow, meaning players can add swarms of air and ground units to their armies. Any Heroscape Battle Box or Master Set can be used in combination with this expansion.
   
4. Greenshirts and Battle Copter Common Army Expansion: This expansion introduces a new Common Hero figure and a 4-figure Common Squad for players to add to their collection. The Common Greenshirts and Battle Copter units allow players to use as many of each figure or squad in their army as point values allow. Players can amass a large collection of air and ground units to overwhelm their foes using this expansion. Any Heroscape Battle Box or Master Set can be used in combination with this expansion.
