HCA Florida Capital Hospital Hosts FSU Science Campers

Capital Hospital was proud to host the FSU Science Summer Camp participants to learn about our nuclear medicine program.
Attendees received a tour of our nuclear medicine services and colleagues of that unit spent time with the students to explain to them the process and methodology behind nuclear medicine. Nuclear medicine involves small amounts of radioactive tracers to assess bodily functions and to diagnose and treat disease. This noninvasive technique can be used for conditions affecting the heart, lungs, bones, breasts and brain.
